Important Weight Guidelines for Tandem Skydiving
For safety and operational reasons, we have specific weight guidelines for tandem skydiving:
- Male maximum weight: 240 lbs
- Female maximum weight: 220 lbs
A Heavy Student Fee applies to anyone over 200 lbs. This fee is non-negotiable and goes directly to the instructor due to the additional effort required for a safe landing.
Important Notes:
- No Refunds: If you exceed the maximum weight on the Skydive Houston scale on the day of your jump, you will not be permitted to jump, and no refunds will be issued.
- Advance Notification: If you are near the weight limits, please call or visit us in advance to confirm your eligibility and avoid disappointment on your jump day.
Your weight is measured using our commercial-grade scale, and the result is final. Please adhere to these guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable skydiving experience.
