Tandem Jump
Tandem is the quickest and simplest way to make your first skydive. With this method you will be attached to a certified tandem Instructor, who will be in control from the time you leave the airplane until you’re back on the ground. Tandem skydiving allows you to experience the free fall and canopy flight as a passenger, leaving most of the responsibility to the instructor.
What to expect:
After a brief introduction and training class, you will be fitted with a harness and interviewed for your video. Once in the air, your instructor will point out the various landmarks including Lake Conroe and the Houston skyline while climbing up to 13,500 feet.
A few minutes before you jump, your instructor secures your harness to their parachute, and they will review the ground training before opening the door. Once free of the aircraft, you will accelerate to 120mph as you experience human flight for up to 60 seconds of free fall. At 5,500 feet the instructor will open the parachute and give you the opportunity to fly back to Skydive Houston. You can choose between the calm sightseeing flight, or the adrenaline filled spiraling canopy ride that will put any roller coaster to shame!
Once on the ground you will receive your First Tandem Jump Certificate, along with your purchased video and pictures so you can relive your experience over and over again.
